Despite a softening economy, the demand for physician executives has never been greater. We are not seeing a slowdown in the market place. In fact, Intelli-Source is currently conducting over 100 nation-wide searches for various Physician specialties. Reports of shortages in some specialties, such as General or Family Practice, Internal Medicine, OB/GYN, or in rural or low-income areas, should attract new entrants, thus encouraging schools to expand programs, and hospitals to increase available residency slots.
